We are having a pop-up booth! This time at the Public Garden Consumer Trade Show at Suntec Convention Hall 403.

It is the 4th year anniversary of Public Garden. And this time, it is not the usual flea market that Public Garden have always organised. There will be many overseas vendors from different independent brands along side with us. It is definitely going to be an awesome experience for us and also for you guys as well.

We guys at The Happy Beach have also been busy preparing for the trade show for this Saturday. Do look out for new arrivals that we will be bringing there that are not in our web store yet. New handmade bags and pouches that are only exclusive to The Happy Beach. Very limited in quantity and oh sooo unique!

Do drop by this Sat 13 June if you are around the area. See you then!

Hot hot weather! Time for a ice-lolly!

Hi guys!

The weather is really really hot these days! And when you are lazing around at home in the afternoon, don’t you feel like you need something cold to beat the heat. How about having a homemade ice lolly! Make your own ice lollies with our new fruity ice pop mould or colourful silicon push up moulds. You can create your own flavours! Pineapple? Strawberry soda? Ribena? Add fruits for more punch! Just like how we added strawberries to our strawberry lemonade pops! Yummy!

Here is our homemade strawberry lemonade pops receipe:

Strawberry Lemonade Pops

In a small saucepan, combine ½ cup sugar, ⅔ cup water, and 1 cup chopped fresh strawberries. Stir over medium heat until sugar is dissolved and mixture comes to a simmer. Cook until berries start to soften, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool. Pour mixture through a fine strainer into a large bowl, pressing the solids with a spoon. Stir in ½ cup lemon juice (from about 2 lemons) and ⅔ cup water.

To finish, pour the mixture into moulds and put in some sliced strawberries before inserting sticks. If using cups, freeze until partially frozen and slushy, about 30 minutes, then insert sticks. Freeze until firm, at least for 6 hours. Enjoy!

Can’t get enough of ice lollies? How about one that doesn’t melt? Here is our ice lolly LED lights which you can use to decorate your room, kitchen or use it for a summer party! Ten colourful ice lollies strung across the room or hang it against the wall. These are battery operated so you can hang them anywhere in your house without the need for a power point. Only for indoor use.

They will be launched this Monday, 27 April 2015. Do keep a look out for them at our online store http://www.thehappybeach.co. I think they are going to be snapped up fast!
